I turned my obsessive (and maybe a little compulsive) love of cooking into a career. With over 20 years of creative culinary professional experiences working as a freelance food stylist, recipe developer, cookbook author, and culinary expert, it’s common you may bump into me at various culinary events. This comes from my love for teaching people about food. My culinary expertise mixed with approachable, fun, easy-going recipes has also facilitated collaborations with brands and social media outlets both in front of and behind the camera.

Christine’s culinary accomplishments include regular guest chef appearances on daytime TV shows like Rogers’ Cityline, CTV’s Marilyn Denis, and The Social. She was also thrilled to join CBC Television and Canada’s most popular daily food show for 2 seasons of BEST RECIPES EVER.

She has been a spokesperson and brand ambassador for such brands as Philips, Dairy Farmers of Ontario, and Bonne Maman to name a few. You will also find her working behind the scenes as a food stylist, food writer, recipe developer, and has worked culinary production for shows such as Masterchef Canada and W Network’s Pressure Cooker.

Christine is most at home in her kitchen with her family, however, you can find her about town in various culinary media events. Whether she is doing a food demo at a trade show or teaching a cooking class, her down-home personality mixed with culinary technique, makes cooking look easy. 

Christine Tizzard recently published Cook More, Waste Less through Penguin Random House Canada, a zero waste cookbook that uses up groceries, food scraps and transforms leftovers.

In 2017, she published Honest to Goodness through Whitecap Books. It’s not surprising that it is packed with mouth-watering, family friendly homemade recipes.
